"Bite me." He ground out, finally getting ahold of the edge of that distortion and pulling. It hurt almost as much as the iron knife in his thigh had, but different. He wasn't sure where it led, but at the moment it didn't matter, all that he cared about was getting away.
And 'away' was what he got, reality peeling apart behind him, beneath him, dropping him out of the chains from behind, through the wall and the floor, tumbling bonelessly into the room below. Of course, the portal, such as it was, followed him, never more than arm's reach away, making it seem as if the floor had simply swallowed him as he fell.
