Re: Andrea
Oh, Dios. Oh shit. Oh she was scared. Andrea was near frightened. Everything she'd gone through. Everything she seen. Nothing compared to screams like that. Not a one. Not .. She'd grown up in the Slums. Where you heard gunshots and abuse nightly. To say she had heard different types of screams? That wouldn't be a lie. And demons? When they were exorcised ... it was. It was a chilling slight and some made an even chilling noise. But none of it compared to ... her brain refused to even process it. She wasn't, she refused to even take any of it in. Even though her heart started beating faster than it ever had before.
Even tighter Andrea wrapped her arms around herself. She heard him come and she refused to give him the satisfaction of looking when he entered. It was bad enough that he knew how scared she was. She wasn't going to show it. She was too stubborn for her own good but he would have to pull it out of her. ... which luckily enough for him, Andrea thought bitterly, was his plan any way.
"Sorry. It's not a real party without any refreshments. And you mister, are missing some good dip." Yeah, she said Mister. If it helped any, there was a part of her brain-that she was ignoring-that already telling her to shut up. "No dip, no fun."
