She had taken some time trying to decide what would be the easiest on his and Lois' stomach. Eggs were definitely out. She knew she needed bread of some sort, so after making a mental list of what she could get on the way back to Watchtower, Chloe decided on picking up some bagels and pancakes (along with a huge coffee for herself).
To say she felt bad about needing to be away the previous night didn't really cover it. She had needed the break and she had been very far from being in the mood for alcohol and beer pong, but she also knew that what Oliver had told her was hard on him and she didn't want him to feel anymore guilty than he already did. Especially not when she, or her future self, had just as much guilt as he did. Or should have anyway.
She made her way through the double doors quietly, not surprised to see him on the couch, but surprised by the smell of fresh coffee and the mug in his hand. "Hey." She greeted quietly. He did look like he felt terrible.
