Jeremy returned her grin with a warm one of his own. "Invited or not I'm coming. Because my sister being a bridesmaid to Rose Tyler is just cool." And it was. And it gave him something positive to dwell on. Almost as if he could forget all the pain and suffering he and Elena had been put through since their parents' deaths.
And while asking about his sister's dating life probably wasn't his business, he was her little brother and it was in the code that he was to annoy and pester her whenever possible. Or something like that. Besides, it would help with the sense of normalcy and he honestly wanted to hear another's opinion about this Anakin guy.
While Jeremy wasn't full out geeking like he would have been a few years ago, he was still clearly excited and was trying to calm down so if Anakin (or hell, this Elphie woman) walked in he wouldn't fluster them or worse.
Absently he rubbed his eyes, wanting to stay awake. It had been nightfall back in Mystic Falls and it had been an incredibly long day. But Elena was here and he was afraid that if he went to sleep this would be a dream and he'd wake up at home with her dead and gone.
