Okay, so Jeremy had a point and their lives really were strange, but it was still something to say just in case that was the thing that was too much for him to handle. But Jeremy was pretty good at just going with things. At least now that he had to be. It was hard not to when they lived in Mystic Falls. So she just nodded in acknowledgement to the comment.
Well there was a reason the cat's name was Cheese Puff. She was an orange ball of adorable fluff.
"What?" Shooting an annoyed look at the mocking question, Elena quirked a brow in challenge. What else did one name a fluffy orange ball? Besides they were moving on to more important things of information. Like the whole situation they were in.
"It's a common response, really... but okay... the first time I was here, the last thing I remembered was being held captive by Rose and Trevor... I was here for about a year before I was sent home... and then I came back a few months ago though only a month had passed here. But for me, it was the night before you went to Denver..."
So hopefully he knew he would go to Denver... because that would be awkward. Because how did she explain that he made the decision to leave her behind in Mystic Falls when there was insanity going on. But it would definitely make sense of his reaction. So she would go on the assumption Jeremy knew that and deal with it if he didn't.
