He gave his sister a warm smile. God it was good to see her as a real living breathing human. When she answered his question with a mention of going someplace possibly safe to talk, he frowned. Elphie. He knew that name from somewhere. It was niggling at the back of his mind. But he let Elena take his arm and lead her through the streets, glancing around to get an overview of where everything was. During the walk, with Elena being silent, Jeremy kept wracking his brain to figure out why Elphie sounded familiar. Then it clicked and he nearly stumbled to a halt.
"Wait...Elphie like that woman from that musical thing you went and saw?" he asked, his voice showing his shock. "You're telling me she's a real live person?"
Then they were at the house and he followed her into the living room, looking around. With her next question, he focused on her. He knew he needed answers but he also just wanted to take more time to process the fact that his sister wasn't dead. Which made his answer fairly easy. "How about some food? I didn't eat much the whole day before coming here." With the Alaric threat looming and apparently turning to crap, food had not been on Jeremy's mind.
