Weird brother was weird. Only not. Because last Elena knew, Jeremy was going to Denver, she had no reason to believe that this was something more than that. Or it was from after the sacrifice, before they knew if she would survive or not. At least as a human. So the comment wasn't so odd. On top of him being in a new world, a familiar face was always welcomed. And as the two only had one another from their biological family? Of course they would cling to one another in a strange place.
"It's good to see you, too."
And it was. Despite all the worry, the insanity of this place... she knew that people were on edge right now, even the normal citizens because they had no idea what was going on, why there were being being strapped with bombs.. Then again, it was probably timed now that another set should happen but Elena wasn't going to worry about that.
"It's complicated. It's not safe, especially right now. Come on, I'll take you to Elphie's... " Because that wouldn't sound odd at all. But it was where she lived. Yes, she was staying at Damon's, or had been, but with Jeremy here, she would be going back to Elphie's as opposed to trying to divide her time again. Quickly scanning the area to ensure that they were safe, Elena held onto Jeremy's arm and started to lead him to Elphie's. It was oddly comforting having him here despite all of this. Yes, it took her back to what she last remembered. The issues she was trying to not think about, the ones that were coming up more and more given the state of things but it was still Jer.
Not really wanting to explain things on the walk because she needed to stay aware of her surroundings, Elena remained quiet and instead just kept ahold of her brother's arm until they got to the house she lived in with Elphie and Anakin. Once there, the teen was able to breathe a bit easier and led Jeremy to the living room.
"Do you need anything or do you want information first and then something to eat or drink?"
