He'd told Molly to leave after a lot of fun with making Watson think she'd betrayed them all and Molly, still under the compulsion she'd soon be freed from had done so. Really it had been hilarious watching her hate him, seethe at him, but doing what he said while she did so. He'd have to send Katherine a fruit basket. Or the vampire equivalent of one. A couple of strapping young men she could bleed out or compel as needed to suit her plans. But first he had John Watson to deal with. There'd been a struggle, but his men had overpowered the doctor. There had simply been more of them and though he'd lost two, they were all expendable here. God he missed Seb at times like this. But the job was done and Watson was subdued. Awake of course, but subdued.
And on a private plane headed away from Lawrence. He'd left Emma a message saying he'd had to leave town for a day or two but it would all be fine. It would be over soon and they'd get to go on with their lives. She'd come round about the criminality eventually. She did love him after all, and he found himself loving her. So if she wanted to stay out of it, that's what he'd give her. He'd told her so. He hadn't drugged Watson like Sherlock had either, no no that wouldn't do. He wanted him alert for the show.
John Watson was going to die. And he'd decided to stick with the waterfall theme but going bigger was key. Sooo it was up to Canada with them. Niagra falls. He'd thought of a dozen ways to do it. Shoot him and push him off, push him off, drown him...there was a whole host of ideas running around in his head. Either way the outcome was the same. It would draw Sherlock to him. And with the barrier of the magic there was nothing anyone could do about it.
He'd probably kill Sherlock back in Kansas. Make a point. Show the world that the man did in fact have a heart given it had just been ripped out. And of course they'd all fear him then. It was perfect. He'd likely be on his way back from Rome as soon as he'd gotten the messages. And then it would be done. All he needed to do was kill Watson and get back on the plane. And then wait as the detectives world fell apart.
"Morning Johnny boy!" he said brightly to the groggy looking doctor bound on the seat opposite him. "Ready to die? It'll be hillarious really. I have it all planned and he is going to love it!"
