Hearing the Hulk's gravely voice and question, Clint shrugged. "Wasn't sure if you wanted some company or anything. If not I can go wander around and let you be with your project Big Guy." The sniper knew that there were those who treated the Hulk like a curse, an affliction Banner had to suffer with for who knew how long. But Clint, he saw it more as two sides of the same man. After fighting with the Hulk in Manhattan, and watching from the window he had crashed through when escaping the explosions on the roof and the Hulk saving Stark, Clint had his suspicions that the Hulk was smarter than he got credit for. This proved it.
Part of Clint was worried about the green guy not giving control back to Banner, but he knew that Banner was still safe. If Hulk could go toe to toe with Thor and smash Loki around like a ragdoll, then it took more than that for something to hurt him. But he might as well treat Hulk like his own person. An intelligent person.
"I wanted to give you a small update on that Helena woman, too. She's doing a lot better. Least physically." Clint folded his arms after pushing up his sunglasses. "Though I'm a bit lost at what to say to her if she starts asking about the other guy, Banner. Any thoughts to that big guy?" He held up a hand so he could go on without Hulk hopefully interrupting. "And I am by no means requesting that you give Banner control back. Frankly I don't care. You should be allowed out more to run around and do what you want from time to time. It's only fair, righ?"
