Frowning slightly as he settled into his seat and opened the menu already at the table, Priestly knit his brow. He supposed she was right; it did mostly revolve around Moriarty being captured or killed or whatever it was they all planned on doing with the guy. "Fair point," he agreed.
He didn't really like having to be in touch with Peter about this at all, if he was honest. Having to check in with Peter felt like a chore; like he was checking in with Amy's father or something. Still, if he didn't, he was sure Peter would take the initiative and anyway, they needed money if they were going to stay out longer than originally planned. Fuck, the very idea of that conversation made Priestly uncomfortable.
Looking back up at Amy, Priestly raised his eyebrows. "Newbury Street?" he asked. He, on the other hand, had not done any sort of research outside of whether or not the Cheers bar actually still existed.
Amy's next statement caught Priestly's attention and his expression brightened. "For real? I love this shit so much," he gushed. The bit about veganism made him grimace, screwing his face with distaste. "Vegan? Dude, fuck that shit," he replied. "That's...why?!" The idea of cutting out not only meat but all animal products completely boggled Priestly's mind. He couldn't give up cheese if someone paid him, much less voluntarily. What the hell were those hippy fucks thinking, anyway?
