When she heard Galen, Gaia turned and smiled at him. "Apologies for not making it back sooner. Rest assured that I have paid my debts to Moriarty, and he will leave me alone." Which wasn't the truth at all, but Gaia was good at making lies sound exactly like the truth. And pairing that with a charming smile to one that was so obviously under her spell, it wasn't hard for her words to be believed.
Upon hearing Hercules wasn't here, Gaia nodded a bit. She wasn't surprised, though she inwardly knew she had to work on regaining his trust again. Once she had her plan in place for Hercules, she would contact him again and start working to win his good graces back. "Tragedy, but not unexpected given the circumstances."
At his concern for her, she smiled warmly and stepped closer to him. "I am well, do not worry. He did not hurt me. Are you well?" She asked, looking up at him, the fingers of her freehand brushing against the back of his hand.
