"Without a doubt I would not recognize my home in this age, and I would rather not suffer such a thing." It was better to keep the memories in tact, and have a taste of the life she knew mixed with the modern times. Gaia couldn't have hoped for any better in this respect, so she was rather pleased to have gotten this much. At wanting the tour, Gaia grinned. The house was open-plan, though not quite as open the villa she was used to, but most of the architecture inside was in Roman style with Roman columns serving as the support pillars. Gaia led Katherine through the living area, in which there was flat screen television, yet it didn't look out of place as it seemed to look more like a mirror and blended into the wall. The kitchen had contemporary appliances, which Gaia was slowly learning how to use. The other rooms were just as exquisite, though Gaia's bedroom was perhaps the most lavish room.
"Now, I have saved the best for last," she said with a bit of a grin before leading Katherine out the back and to the separate building, which was an authentic Roman bath. "This is a Roman bath. Whenever I am not within the house, I am here."
Gaia looked at Katherine and nodded. "Most certainly, having most of what I require is a good thing." It was certainly refreshing to know Gaia wasn't the only one who knew what Moriarty could offer when people cooperated with him. And frankly, Gaia preferred to be in people's good graces.
