How terribly interesting. Maedhros looked at her with wide, curious eyes. She used to be one of them? Then who woke her from her sleep and gave her human form? How curious a power to exist in this world. "I see.. Do not fret, My Lady. I will show you how to wake the others. Their voices have faded from my hearing also, but it is the language of the elves that have woken them and taught them to speak long ago. They have only been made to sleep again, and that is why you cannot hear them now." Or so he believed. It didn't occur to him that even the magic of his voice would be unable to wake them, for he believed truly that this place was Arda several thousand years beyond the age he left it.
Surely, magic existed somewhere in the world. It was true in itself given this Seal that had pulled them here. Without magic, how had the Seal come to pass?
Maedhros offered a brilliant smile to Ariel, and directed them in the direction of the park. It was the one location he could readily find, given the nature he so enjoyed to immerse himself in. It contained the most trees of the other locations, and offered a fresh place to breathe, sit and merely think. It was easy to orient himself in Lawrence beginning from there too, heading in all other directions depending what he sought.
"Lady Ariel, what is it like to live in the water?"
[lmao, I assumed as much. <3 But it was hilarious anyway.]
