She wasn't thinking about closing the place down. Far from it. She sat in stony silence, arms looped around her knees, back pressed against the wall across from the entrance, eyes downcast. She heard the quiet knocking and then glanced up as he opened the door, blinking a few times from the sunlight that streamed in.
"Hey. I'm here." She tried to smile, but didn't quite manage it.
