Offering Comfort WHO: Wesley and Cordelia WHAT: Dealing with Angel's disappearance WHEN: Same night Angel vanished WHERE: The building he used for Angel Investigations Status: Closed/Incomplete RATING: TBD
As Wesley drove over to get Cordy, he was trying to put his thoughts in order. He was upset that Angel was gone, when he had finally felt that he had gotten his friend back and things were...OK again, but he knew that Cordy was especially devastated, so he wanted to push back his own emotions so that he would be able to comfort her.
He honestly wasn't sure if they should be cleaning out the place yet or anything. Could he come back? Could they even bring him back? Of course, lots of people here wanted to go home...he just wasn't one of them. He much preferred it here where people were talking to him and his life wasn't in complete shambles. He doubted it would be OK to pull someone back, though. It would probably backfire in some way and bring Angelus by accident.
Still, if this place really was in the middle of an Armageddon, then why allow a great champion to go back to where he was from? Something about it didn't seem right. Maybe one of those more devious people had done something to send him back? This place seemed full of those, too.
Shaking his head, he took a deep breath and parked his car. Right now all he wanted to do was push his thoughts to the back of his brain and just help Cordy. Do everything that he could for her. He didn't want her to sink into the depths of depression. He'd been there himself. She didn't deserve to be there.
He got out of the car, locking it and walking up to the front door of the building, knocking lightly and then pushing the door open. "Cordy?" he called out. "Where are you?"
