Who:Dick Grayson and Lois Lane What:Socializing-at least until the shots kick in When:Tonight! Where:Roadhouse Warnings:Drunkenness?
Dick had taken a day off from everything. Everyone seemed to agree it was a good idea. Of course he hadn't heard back from Bruce on it in a while, but he figured Bruce could handle one night without him. He was his mentor after all. He was the Batman. Never would Dick ever replace him, no matter what anyone said. He spent several hours lounging around at Darcy's with her and the kids before getting back on his motorcycle and heading into the city again. Her house was pretty far, he knew it was a good idea but he started thinking it probably got lonely. He made a mental note to follow through with his attempts at socializing. He was failing pretty hardcore at being a friend, and he needed to change that or he really would end up like Bruce. Hell even Bruce had more of a social life than he did, and that was just wrong. Bruce had a girlfriend. Dick had been there longer and hadn't even tried going out on a date.
This wasn't a date, but it was getting out. Getting out was good. He was impressed with Lois and could see what Clark saw in her. She was amazing. She had this positive sort of energy about her that just made him want to trust her. And it was Lois. He already sort of knew one from home, so she had a leg up in that direction.
Ten o clock on the dot rolled around and just as promised a black and blue motorcycle pulled up silently infront of the complex. Dick left it on and let it idle as he looked around for the reporter. He pulled off his helmet and waited. He didn't normally like to use his motorcycle as a civilian, but tonight he was making an exception. He probably should have brought it up that he would be picking her up that way, but chances were if she could handle being with Clark Kent then she could definately handle a little motorcycle ride to the roadhouse.
