Belle returned the smile weakly. It wasn't exactly an easy situation for either of them to be in, she imagined. Showing up was certainly difficult and then the fact that Emma had to explain the impossible to someone? That couldn't be easy to handle either. So really, Belle just appreciated that she was doing so and hadn't given up on her yet.
"No, it is not, but it is something." And something was better than nothing. Knowing that things had stopped... well, it at least meant that Belle wouldn't worry. She would miss it, yes. Miss her papa, but at least he wouldn't worry. Because maybe she would make it back to him when she got sent back. Perhaps she would see him again. It wasn't like she knew how her story played out, after all.
As Emma checked her phone, Belle looked around and then turned her attention back to the blond, nodding some. She was about to ask why she didn't do it herself, but there were plenty of reasons. Just because it was a safe place didn't mean that everyone lived there. That was foolish. Right? Belle didn't know. That and the annoying tendency of realizing one's limitations when they were mentioned came into play. The adrenaline from the wolf chase and new location were finally wearing off and Belle found herself exhausted despite trying to appear fine. So instead she just gave a small nod.
"That might be a good idea.... Thank you for all of your help..." Because Emma really could have just left her in the park, could have kept walking. But she didn't. Even if she didn't live at the complex, she had given Belle answers and the knowledge of what she could do and stay and would at least help her get there.
