Who: Lois Lane and Wesley Wyndam Pryce What: The Seal dropped off a not so happy Lois and Wes is the lucky person to stumble across her. When: Right now! Where: Random park in Lawrence Warnings: Uh...TBA?
Nothing made sense anymore. One minute she had been in the Daily Planet, trying to keep Tess Mercer the hell off of her, and the next she was laying in the middle of a park. While that was strange in and of itself, it hadn’t taken Lois long to realize that she was definitely not in Metropolis anymore. The buildings surrounding the park were different, not seeing the Daily Planet globe or Queen Tower anywhere in the skyline.
“What the hell?” she muttered, pushing herself up off the ground. She rubbed at her head, wondering if one of Tess’ blows had done more damage than she’d first thought.
It was a lot to take in and her mind was having some trouble processing the ins and outs of somehow being transported from her office to a park in the blink of an eye. That was the kind of thing that happened in comic books, but after everything she had seen in her few short years in Smallville, after everything Chloe had told her, it wasn’t as hard to believe as it could have been had she never experienced all that she had.
Nor was suddenly finding herself in a strange city going to stop her. While she may have been thrown off balance, she was still Lois Lane, and if there was anything constant about her at all, it was the fact that she wouldn’t leave a story alone once she’d sniffed out the beginnings of it. And whatever had happened to her, Lois had a feeling it would make a good article for the front page of the Daily Planet. Well, at least once she figured out how to get back there it would.
She glanced around the park, trying to figure which way to go, and headed right toward where she thought she could hear the sounds of cars. Hopefully she would find some answers soon.
Lois stopped the first person she saw. "Hi, maybe you can help me. Or at least direct me to someone who is able of helping me make any sense out of what's just happened."
