Who: Iolaus and Xena
What: The Seal finally decided to grab the warrior princess and bring her here. And luckily Iolaus is going to find her!
When: Right now!
Where: Random street in Lawrence
Warnings: Uh...TBA?
So one moment she'd been with Gabrielle and Eve and trying to put Caligula's death behind her. The next she was alone and in a very strange place. It wasn't Rome anymore. Looking around her, she turned in a circle, trying to discern where she was. She'd never seen buildings like these before. It was strange, like some dream realm. She was almost ready to curse the gods for the taking her to some strange dream realm. At least until she remembered most of the Olympians were dead. The leather-clad and armed woman suddenly stopped turning in a circle and rolled her eyes.
"Is this a lesson, God of Eli? Because this really isn't your kind of humor." She waited a moment to see if a blaze of light would suddenly encompass her, but there was none. "All right then, Michael maybe. Payback for trying to kill you?" Again, nothing. And Xena was getting really antsy. Which was never a good thing when it came to her. Bad things tended to happen.
That's when a car drove by on the street. Leaping back a couple feet, Xena watched in horror as the horseless chariot sped by her. All right, so this was a really crazy dream. Perhaps she'd hit her head or something as she'd prepared to leave Rome. Looking around, she didn't see Gabrielle or Eve anywhere. "All right look, whoever brought me here, it would be really nice if you'd either show yourself and explain why or I'm going to get really angry. And you won't like me angry, believe me." She had a short fuse at the moment, but after having Eve threatened and being stripped of the power to properly protect her from gods? Who wouldn't be short tempered?
With her senses on high alert, Xena started to make her way along the sidewalk, being careful to stay out of the road. She didn't want to confront one of those things she'd seen drive by. The first rule of being in a place you had no idea where you were, was to find out where exactly you were. Of course it would help immensely if whoever brought here would pop out and tell her that information. But gods were rarely helpful, so Xena would take it upon herself to find out. One way or another.
