"That sounds much like a proposal, Bruce. Do be careful because I am capable of reciting formulas all day long." She smirked a bit playfully. After all, she was flirtatious by nature, and nothing got her going faster than good scientific discussion. In fact, there had been several occasions in her past when she used scientific debate as foreplay.
But Helena would keep things professional and friendly, not crossing the line unless Bruce gave inclinations to wanting to cross the line. It was simply thrilling to be able to talk to someone like this. Yes, she'd spent many hours talking with Claudia about inventions and technology, but when Helena crossed into talking scientific specifics, she tended to lose Claudia. Oh Claudia tried to follow along, but she would get lost eventually. The same went with Myka. So in those cases Helena either ended up talking to glazed looks or talking in terms they would understand. Bruce, however, had a mind similar to her own. It was geared towards science as hers was.
"That they are, though it wasn't so much an explosion as it was the pressure the cavorite exerted on the air above it was far greater than I had originally calculated. It is a highly potent metal, so just be ware of that." Helena chuckled a bit, remembering back to that time. She'd only been eighteen years old then, but her lover at the time had allowed her to dabble in his lab when she wanted.
Helena watched as Bruce read over her notes, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. She knew that look on his face well. It was without a doubt the same one she had currently. That thirst for knowledge with a touch of child-like elation at a new project.
"Oh thank you. I am of the mind that everything should be recorded. The smallest and seemingly unimportant detail can be the difference between a failed experiment and a successful one." She smiled warmly at him. "Now if you would like, you may begin helping melt down some of these metals. As you well know some of them take longer to melt down than others."
