The sharp whistle wasn't hard for someone like Peter to miss. His senses jolted immediately and the camera in his hands immediately dropped down a few inches away from his face as Peter turned to look for the source of the noise. Dozens of others were peering out curiously instead - each gaze leading back to a tiny woman that was balancing a bag of groceries in front of the apartment building. Peter noted that she was watching him. He peered over his shoulder, thinking that maybe it was someone else that she was trying to get the attention of. There was nothing but a brick wall behind him, however, which meant that, logically, it was he that she seemed to want to talk to.
Peter awkwardly squeezed past a couple and jogged his way across the street, pausing a few inches away from the steps she stood upon. "Uh, hi," he started, looking a bit curious. What did she want, exactly? Was she a part of the apartment building? Peter was new, so he didn't know all of who came in and out of there yet. It was a pretty big area.
