WHO: Peter and OPEN. WHAT: Messing about with his camera! WHEN: Afternoon. WHERE: Outside of the apartments. RATING: PG-13.
One of the very first things that Peter Parker invested in after getting here was a quality camera. Something with a good shot; something that he knew would be useful to him if and when he decided to apply for employment somewhere. Maybe they'd take pictures of Spider-Man the way that Jameson had. Peter wondered how people would react to seeing Spider-Man slinging his way through the streets. Would they panic? Think that it was a hoax? Peter, of course, could always resort to simply not doing anything at all. But it was in his nature to play the role of hero. Lawrence was a big city. Bad things happened all the time. Could he really sit back and do nothing while innocents were being mugged, trapped in fires, and so on? No, not really. Not when there were actual monsters out there in addition to the usual ranks of every day crime.
Camera in his hands, Peter stepped off the curb and crossed the street. He turned back to face the apartment building, raising the camera up to eye level to get a shot of the entire scene. It was hardly anything dramatic or interesting, but as Peter was experimenting with the new camera he was willing to toy around with something as simple as taking a photo of a regular, every day old building.
The shot came across cleanly. Peter appeared to be pleased with it, as he turned to the side to seek out other potential things to take photos of.
