Truthfully, Mara didn't want to know how long Luke had been without her. She didn't want to know the pain he and Ben suffered because it would only make her start to hate Jacen more for having taken her from them. And she was trying to find some common ground to stand on with Jacen in this place. While she would seek to try and find a way to get along with him, perhaps even be family again at some point, she kept an ever watchful eye on him. The moment she felt him Fall again, she would be there and she would end him. With the exception of Luke now, she was the only one from their universe that could do that. Well, Tenel Ka might if she felt Jacen was beyond saving, but Mara had the most right to take Jacen's life. After all, he had taken hers.
His words made her smile. "You certainly better not. I would not want to beat some sense into you on the matter. So just take this as it is."
Again, she laughed. Oh how she had missed him. This felt so right to her. "And being stuck with you is a destiny I wish to suffer." Oh there was much to explain, much for him to adjust to, but she was certain he would get there. She would be there with him to help. This was a rather complex place to explain, and she had been lucky Jaina had let her stay with her and explained things to her. Now it was her turn to do the same for Luke.
Taking her battle stance, she felt his mind reaching to hers, and she could only smile, opening her mind and joining it to his, a smirk of her own curving her lips. "Let us dance, my love."
Focusing her attention on the Autons, she began to move towards them, allowing the Force to envelope her and augment her speed.
