At seeing that smile on his face, Mara's eyes sparkled. It was so rejuvinating to feel Luke's presence again, especially after what she'd been through since arriving in this place. And she was so grateful the Seal had seen fit to bring Luke through. The only thing missing now was Ben. But at least now she had Luke.
"It is, though we are all from different points in time. Allana is a teenager here. Jaina comes from during the Yuuzhan Vong war. I am not completely sure when Tenel Ka is from. Anakin is from his death. Jacen is also from after his death. I am also from my death. This place apparently has the power to bring the dead back to life and give us another chance." She was still coming to terms with Jacen's existence and having helped her here, but she wasn't going to squander this opportunity.
Mara had to think a moment, counting back over how long she'd been here. "Almost three months now. There is so much to tell you about this place, but I will fill you in on the details when we are safe. As for the numbered of the kidnapped, it is dwindling. I helped another rescue three of the kidnapped the other day." Short form answer, but Mara didn't want to get into details in the event they encountered Autons. As such, she peeked around a corner as they came to it, checking the road for any of those wandering plastic men. Not seeing any on that block, she turned and continued leading the way.
"Other types of Force users?" Mara glanced at Luke, intrigued by that statement. "And...I am aware of some things that happened. Jacen told me. About the Embrace of Pain." She was still upset about that fact, and she wasn't exactly certain where in time Luke was from yet, but if he was from beyond that point, he'd know of what she spoke. When the subject turned to Galen, Mara drew in a silent breath. "There is much Galen doesn't know. And I am trying to help him strengthen his mind. There was an incident a month or two ago that made it obvious he needed to have stronger mental barriers. He has the potential to be dangerous, but I am making certain he learns how to control himself." She kept her opinions on how Vader trained his apprentice to herself, not wanting to broach that subject.
At the soft comment, Mara glanced at him, her eyes filled with mirth. "I'll feel a lot better once we reach the complex," she replied playfully. Really, it was almost frightening to her how easily she slipped back into her normal playful and sarcastic manner of speech. That was something she had been lacking the majority of the time she'd been here so far.
