Mara couldn't stifle a laugh as he stuck his tongue out at her. "Well I should certainly hope tiredness couldn't stand against me. Otherwise I'd be very, very cross." It was quite interesting to see how the tiredness was pulled away the longer they stood in each other's embrace.
And she felt that physical reaction and could only chuckle a bit. Though she couldn't deny it roused her own physical reaction to him.
"It is as permanent as life itself is. One can still be killed here, but yes. That is the short answer to that question. And no, Jacen is not a threat to those around him. He is not as dark as he once was. And it may sound insane to you, but I owe him my life here. A few weeks back, I got struck with coomb spores again, and I almost died. But he saved me." For a moment, the look on her face grew a bit strained, showing her inner turmoil with her feelings on Jacen. "He helps here as much as he can. I imagine you and him should talk, but he is not a threat. And yes, we are needed in this battle. I imagine you have encountered those plastic men? They are not the true threat here, but just one of many. I can explain more fully later once we are somewhere safe."
And of course he would ask that particular question. Mara merely smirked. "You have such timing for your questions. First you ask me to marry you when we could have died, and now you ask me this in the middle of a war. But yes there is. I have been staying with Jaina here, but there is another place we can go. A place where we can have our own room and then we can fully enjoy our reunion." She was fairly certain Jaina did not want to walk in on such a thing. And besides, Jaina's apartment was barely large enough for the two of them. So she would take Luke to the complex for now. They could figure something else out later if they wished. "Follow me, and keep your eyes open. These Autons, as they're called, seemingly have no end." Turning, Mara started to head towards the complex, keeping her eyes open.
