Mara's emotions were like welcome home all in themselves. He had lived many places since her death but none had felt nearly so strongly home as this moment, this square piece of land, did. He breathed them in and breathed in her scent, her beauty as they looked at each other. "Mara." His voice was soft, almost like he felt afraid to speak aloud, to break a dream worth living. But he knew it was real, and he smiled to her, tears unformed in his eyes, but making them shine.
"And I you. You look so beautiful. You feel so good." And he meant it in every way. Force and body and mind and soul, he felt like she was the best thing he had ever touched. He had missed her so.
He took a long breath, and blew out a longer one of air, and smiled, tears forming but not falling. "Finally, I am reunited with you." And he had not known, not truly, how very much he had missed her, even after accepting her death.
"I want to know everything." He chuckled over the impossible statement even as it was true.
