"It sounds like it could be nice." She nodded. "We only have fake beaches in Las Vegas." Amy shrugged, scrunching her nose in distaste. She'd never actually visit the pseudo-beach at the Mandalay Bay. She hadn't even been to the strip that often. While she did like to have fun, that kind of thing got old quick. Even when she was a child she knew she was going to get out of there. Everything was so predictable in that town.
There was a pause and she nodded again. "I'm definitely taking you up on your offer." Her smile broadened slightly. It would be so good to skip town, she knew it. Lawrence had been nothing but stress since she arrived. Back home there were the vampires she'd had to deal with. In this place there were vampires and demons and now plastic people toting guns and abducting the displaced of Lawrence. It was like every horror movie ever compacted into one giant nightmare. At least she had a few friends to ground her and keep her from completely losing it.
"You can be my tour guide." Amy gave Priestly a little nudge. She had calmed down considerably since she started talking to him. It was good not being on edge. Amy was very glad that she had him around with her.
