It felt like a huge weight had been lifted from her shoulders since she told Priestly her story. She wondered if she'd been taking the wrong approach all along. Maybe things would have been easier if she had opened up to a person, maybe Peter or Charley. Still, she felt reluctant about letting anyone from home in on how she felt. She probably wouldn't tell Peter, if he was ever rescued from the Autons. He was a nice guy, but given his pure hatred toward vampires she didn't want to risk losing his friendship. Charley... Well, who knew if the Seal was even going to bring him to this messed up place. For now she felt okay with just Priestly's shoulder to lean on.
Amy frowned a little at Priestly's remark regarding certain people being unable to get past his mohawk and piercings. "That's their loss, isn't it?" She gave a smirk and eyed his hair for a second. She wasn't such a snob that she would ignore a person with hair like Priestly's. Actually, she thought that it worked for him, in a strange sort of way.
"We make an awesome team." She laughed when she said it. It took her a second for it to register that she was actually laughing. It wasn't long ago that she was consumed with fear from her nightmare, and now she was laughing. It felt wonderful.
