Amy smiled a little, beyond relieved that what she'd told Priestly hadn't absolutely freaked him out. The last thing she wanted to happen was to push him away. She sniffled just a little bit and leaned in to hug him. Amy wasn't usually so affectionate, but she felt like she could really use a hug at that point.
"Thank you," She looked up, truly meaning the expression of gratitude. "I hadn't told anyone up until now. Not even the people I knew back home..." Amy shook her head. There had been plenty of times when she could have brought it up with Charley, but she was absolutely terrified of what he would think of her afterward. He had seen her as a monster. He'd seen the distorted face and the fangs. He'd even seen her feed off of Jerry like some kind of strung out blood addict. The blessed stake was supposed to return her to her human state, but unfortunately it hadn't wiped the memories clean from her mind. It was all there clear as day. Somehow Priestly's feelings for her were unchanged. Her story hadn't repulsed him like she feared it would. This was a major relief.
"You're a pretty great guy, Priestly." Her smile broadened a little and she put her hand on his shoulder.
