Sleep sounded nice. More tempting than food. "Could have stopped him if he didn't use people."He wondered how Hercules would have done it, he wouldn't have failed. "Hercules wouldn't be here." He knew he shouldn't compare himself to Hercules since he was a demi God, but Iolaus had done it his entire life. Why stop now? They were in different leagues but still Hercules was his best friend, on occasion it gave him a complex when he couldn't keep up with his friend.
"No, your name is Lilith right?" It was hard to tell whether or not he was joking. It seemed like it at times, but Iolaus was in too much pain to rightfully joke without some of his scattered state showing. His arms ached from being put in such an awkward position for so long, and his eyes ere barely open anymore.
"They call me Iolaus." As if she didn't know his name. He began to drift out of consciousness again. His entire body felt heavy like a brick. He didn't know how long he could stay awake. At least he still knew his own name, which was a surprise given how out of it he was.
At last these guards weren't eating in front of him like the last time he'd been in prison.
