"Whatever, I'm going to remember it when Herc finds us." He had a few things to remember to thank the Master for. Including the angry looking injury that stained his vest with blood. "Going to remember it." He said as a guard looked at him with blank eyes for all his talking. Most of his talking didn't make much sense, it was just words to stay conscious by. "This is my fault." He managed as he leaned himself up against their cell and closed his eyes. 'Considered eating a rat but I'm a little tied up." He tried to joke, but it was failing. His energy was dropping rapidly. Lack of energy in that cell wasn't helping.
Maybe they would never be found. The little voice in the back of his mind played tricks on his aching head. "Guess they don't. Lucky us." He said through furrowed brows. His skin was warm from pain and exhaustion, his eyes unable to focus much longer. "I don't know you anymore." He wasn't in his right mind when he spoke half the time. If he had been he wouldn't have said half the things he was rambling about.
He felt dizzy and ill, his body started to collapse. His legs buckled finally and he slid down to the floor, he was unable to hold himself up in that much pain anymore. He'd already done so for what seemed like days previous to Gabrielle's arrival. He knew it couldn't have been that long, but time didn't make much sense while his head felt as though he were drowning. Only drowning would have been nicer and more humane.
The injury on his head suggested possible memory issues. "I caught the bigger fish." He grinned through the pain.
