Okay. This wasn't exactly how she had planned for her rescue mission to go, getting captured herself. But at least she managed to end up where Iolaus was? Especially given how many people were missing by that point. But there were only two other people in there, meaning whoever was behind this was smart enough to know that putting a bunch of people together was probably not the best idea ever. Not when they were kidnapped and had people looking for them. So much for that.
"Doesn't seem like much of a party..."
It was a half hearted reply, for while Iolaus' spirit might not have been broken, Gabrielle's had been broken since before she had even shown up in Lawrence. And getting kidnapped as well in an attempt to save someone really didn't help with that. But she could pretend. She always pretended. Especially when others were around and between the scared red head and Iolaus, she had to. And seeing the open wound on his chest? Well, Gabrielle had least had something to focus on. First though, retorting to the look she was given.
"Don't look at me like that. Okay, it didn't go as planned, I admit, but don't even say you wouldn't do the same."
And that was all there was to it. While Gabrielle didn't have much on her person since they'd taken her fighting stick, but she was good at hiding things on her just in case. Which meant she had the means to at least tend to an injury. So before Iolaus could even try to protest the matter, Gabrielle pushed herself up and went to him and started tending to the injury after pulling out a small bottle of antiseptic and make shift bandages.
