Who: Anna, npc!brainwashed people What: Anna's luck at tracking isn't going well at ALL in Lawrence Where: Streets near the outskirts of the city. When: Early morning of May 30th Status/Rating: Narrative (Complete)/PG at most
With several of the people having been taken by the strange plastic men, Anna wanted to do something. Even though she didn't know everyone here, she considered them pack in a sense. They were all out of their time and place and trying to survive. So she had offered to help. It irked her a bit that Connor didn't want her to, but she had a feeling it might have had something to do with the last time she had done this. But then she had still been a bit out of her element. Now though, she had spent a few days a month practicing hunting and tracking in the isolated areas outside of the city.
Having gotten the scent of the few people she had known to be missing, she found a spot to change. With the scents still fresh in her mind, she set off, discarding the scents she wasn't interested in. For her wolf, this was a hunt and she was eager to find their prey. But so far nothing. However, dodging the plastic men proved to be a bit of a challenge. Some of their shots had hit, but as they weren't silver, they didn't phase Anna as much as they should have.
After searching the entire night, her ears perked up when she caught a scent. She followed it cautiously, not wanting to get jumped again like last time. She froze suddenly when more scents caught her nose. Scents that smelled off. A low rumble of a growl sounded in her chest, but before she could leap away and run to safety, a cattle prod hit her side and she yelped in pain. It stayed in her side and she could feel her muscles twitch as her wolf howled and snarled in anger. When the ropes were placed over her neck, she snarled and tried to move, but her muscles weren't cooperating just yet, even though she was healing fast. Something was quickly placed over her snout and she snorted some, trying to not breathe but soon passed out.
When Anna woke next she was still a wolf only this time she was in some sort of cage. And from her spot in the middle, it was silver. Her lips pulled back from her teeth and she growled dangerously, struggling to get up to pace. She hoped Connor held it together okay. ANd once more she was pissed at herself for getting caught. At least so far there didn't seem to be any torture, which was a small plus.
