"That's a bit disconcerting," he admitted. To think that anyone that he ended up meeting here could just up and disappear at any given time. He blinked when she said that Fred had been here. Fred would actually be the second person that he had been most worried about seeing, well, if she was here. The last time that he had seen her was when she came to the hospital to drop off his things and then tell him to never come back. He involuntarily shuddered thinking about the memory.
He'd tell her about what fully happened if she asked. He knew now that, if he had explained things fully before, things wouldn't have went as badly.
He returned her smile. "It's good for me, too," he admitted.
