From what little that Wesley had been able to put together, he was only getting more confused. Angel had said something about this place being more...biblical. Several people had also mentioned dimensions. It wasn't the hardest thing for him to handle, since he had traveled to a different one himself, but that didn't make it any less weird. He wondered if Angel could walk in the sun here, too.
He looked up when he heard someone approaching, catching Cordelia's smile start to fade when she actually got a good look at him. His neck still wasn't even fully healed, but he had stopped wearing a bandage over the bright red cut. It made him itch.
"I'm assuming I'm...ah...'after' you then, huh?" he asked, standing up off the ground. Her hair was darker than he remembered, although she may have been here for a while and just redyed it. She did that a good bit since she started cutting it.
"It's quite the long story, though." Nothing he wanted to rehash, really, even though he knew Cordelia was going to force him to do just that.
