She listened closely to what he had to say. After all, learning about the world they'd been brought to meant survival and Amy very much wanted to live. It was five times as important as anything she had ever studied in school. When Peter brought up demons and the amulets the people in Lawrence wore to ward them off she reached behind the fabric of her shirt to show off her amulet with a small smile. It was one of the first things she'd been told about upon arrival. It seemed a little too gaudy to display over her clothing and it could still do its job hidden away under her clothing.
"I'm prepared. Trying to memorize the rite of exorcism, too." Amy gave a roll of her eyes and smiled. "This is definitely something I never imagined myself doing. I feel like I'm right out of a horror movie." She paused and frowned once what she'd said really sunk in. She let out an unhappy sigh. Thinking of the movie she was from never brought on any good feelings. "Or, you know, a different horror movie. The Exorcist or something."
"Buffy?" She raised her eyebrows with a smile, remembering watching the show when it had been on air. It seemed, though, that Peter was even more excited than Amy was. There was some comfort in not being the only 'fictional' person in the city and it was especially relieving that some of the Buffy crew were in town. Amy imagined they would have many things to bond over and that, should some awful threat pop up, they could team up in efforts to stop it.
"We'll probably want the verbena in its purest form." She nodded. Of all of the threats in Lawrence, mind controlling vampires were the one she took most seriously. Amy didn't want to be a puppet for anyone's use. The thought made her shudder a little bit.
