Amy lifted the box of donuts with one hand, trying to clear a space for the snacks without totally ruining things. She assumed there was a reason things were in their specific place and tried to keep them that way. With a safe little spot cleared away, Amy set the box of donuts down again, then turning her attention to the effort of finding a safe spot to sit.
"All of this and you're just scratching the surface...?" She looked around with a tiny frown. Of course she wasn't criticizing his efforts, but rather frowning at the fact that there was so much more to look into. There were all sorts of people in the place from many different worlds. If vampires really did vary from world to world then there would be much research in the future for both Amy and Peter. At least there hadn't been any unpleasant surprises from the world they came from. Amy had heard rumors about people who were supposed to be dead showing up alive in Lawrence. She really didn't want to have to face Jerry or Ed again. Once was one time too many, in her opinion.
"Oh," She looked up to him, just then remembering something she'd wanted to tell him. "I looked into verbena flowers. There's this great greenhouse just outside of Lawrence that has everything." Amy leaned forward, propping herself up with her elbows on her knees. "I guess you don't just have to ingest it. People use it to make perfume, too."
