Feeling the squeeze on his arm, he gave her a small smile of thanks. There were some nights where he dreamt about that still. Though thankfully they had lessened over time. But even then, he never stopped thinking of his lost family. At least Hera had gotten what she deserved. Trapped, hopefully forever, in that abyss. If he could, Hercules would send her to the darkest depths of Tartarus to rot.
He pulled himself out of his anger towards his stepmother and looked at what Gaia had typed for him to read. So she didn't seem to know of the Norselands. Not all that surprising given they were hard to get to. Nevermind the fact the land was harsh and brutal. But it was beautiful as well. There was no denying that.
Clearing her question, he began to type out his response. They are far to the north of Gaul. And the land there is wild and untamed and full of beauty. I do not think the Romans yet know of the Norselands. And even if they did, I do not think they could conquer them. The campaign would be long and bloody. And that would be if the Norse gods did not intervene to protect their people.
Hercules had gone head to head with Thor after he had been tricked by Loki into killing Baldur. And the Norse god of Thunder was truly a force of nature. But I think my favorite land aside from Greece so far has to be Eire. There's a sense of peace and beauty and balance there I've felt no where else.
