Really, kind was not an adjective one would use to describe Gaia. Lucretia would probably laugh at that. Then again, she might not because Gaia was actually kind to Lucretia. They'd been childhood friends, and that relationship had grown and evolved into something more over time. Which was something Gaia found she really missed. She needed Lucretia, and it was hurting her to know she couldn't just go back to Capua and find her right now. She would give anything to feel Lucretia's touch again, to hear her voice.
At his question, Gaia tilted her head and pondered that. It was not exactly a name she knew off the top of her head, but she thought about it. Something seemed familiar. After all, she did know a lot of people. And she knew of many more. "The name is vaguely familiar. I believe there was a priest of Jupiter by that name? Though that was some years ago." Gaia was perhaps the one Roman in this world who didn't know who Julius Caesar was. In the time she had come from, he had only begun his military career. He was not yet a politician or anything that he would become. And really, she only knew about the high priest thing because her husband had insisted on going to the temple regularly.
Turning down a street, she grinned. "Ah, here we are," she announced, motioning to the building to their right. She walked up to the door and opened it and led him inside. She opted for taking the stairs up to the floor her room was on. She did not trust the elevator, and she wouldn't subject Hercules to riding in it right now. She led him up to the fourth floor and to her room, which was one of the large single bedroom apartments. Opening the door, she stepped inside, then motioned for him to enter.
"Please, make yourself comfortable, and I can explain more about this place." There was a couch and comfy chair in the living area. Her room was impeccably clean and neat. She was certainly not the messy type.
