Galen Marek ([info]star_killer) wrote in [info]wariscoming,
He frowned at the word mentem. He had never heard of that before. Did she mean viewpoints? That could work but he didn't think it was exactly what she was going for. He stared at her for a few moments before a thought came to him. It was probably a word similar to viewpoints that she meant. "I've been getting that. Social interactions are...strange for me. My idea of a social interaction in the past was killing anyone who saw me."

Violence Galen understood well. Survival? Equally well. Subtlety? He could sneak around rather when he focused on it. But sex? Flirting? He was completely clueless on how to even act around those topics in discussion. Yes, he had had a kiss, but that didn't mean he knew how to flirt or anything.

So when Gaia spoke and eyed him the way she was, along with that smile, it made him feel a bit...odd. Almost like a predator stalking it's prey. But that was silly, Gaia wouldn't hurt him. Besides, he could probably take her with ease. She didn't seem the warrior type. Though that didn't mean she still couldn't kill him. He tried to focus on her words and ignore her look and smile even though it made his face a bit redder for some reason.

"Not to mention having a new chance to do something with your life," he added.
