As Galen said the technology was out of date to him, Gaia deduced he was from the future. It made the most sense to her because she was still getting her head around different planets. "That is very good. It is sometimes difficult enough learning and using the technology of this place." When he gave her the look with the lifted brow, she wondered if it was only for her manner of speech, or if there was more to it. Of course, she would need to put it to the test.
"You would be correct. I am from two thousand years in the past. I am a citizen of the Roman Empire." She wasn't exactly sure if that piece of information would be at all familiar to him, but there it was. "To say finding myself in this place and age was disconcerting would be a gross understatement.
