Galen gave her a bit of a kind smile. "I don't think you'll have to worry about that. The technology of this place is a bit...out of date to me," he said. He didn't want to say old, so out of date seemed to fit best. He continued looking around until he heard her say gratitude instead of thank you. He glanced over at her and lifted a brow, partly from her terminology and party from seeing her long legs. Well, it was a perfect opening for that small talk thing he knew people did.
At her offer of sit, he crossed over and found a spot that would allow them to keep their personal space but was still close enough to not be considered closed off. He sat back some and looked over at his hostess. "So...I may be completely wrong about this but something tells me you are not from this time period," he said. Probably not the smoothest of question asking but he wasn't all that use to it. "May I ask when you are from?"
