Galen returned Gaia's smile as she agreed with the sentiment that life needed challenges. He was also coming to the belief that no matter what, a person never was given more than they could handle in regards to what life dished out at them. Though sometimes life did boil down to survival of the fittest. And Galen was a survivor when he didn't need to sacrifice himself for the greater good.
It was probably a very good idea that Gaia resisted having her way with Galen against the wall. He might have freaked a bit and shoved her off of him, possibly with more force than was necessary. So, not doing that probably saved her from having a concussion. Or worse. And she was also right in the fact that Galen had no sexual experience other than a simple, passionate goodbye kiss shared with Juno. Gaia also got bonus points in guessing that Galen was indeed a fast learner. It was how he had survived for so long under Vader.
He chuckled some at her words about the lifts he was use to. "I don't think you have to worry about those lifts here in this galaxy Gaia." At the query of meditating in a religious manner, he took a moment to think. "Not quite," he returned. "It's more so I can clear my head and balance myself out as best I can." That was the best way he could describe it at least.
Climbing four flights of stairs was a piece of cake for Galen. He remembered when he had to run, climb and leap up a giant mushroom like building on Felucia just to get to Shaak Ti. While being attacked by Felucians. Stepping inside, he looked around and noticed how neat and organized everything was. Order was good. No doubt she knew where everything of hers was.
"I'm fine for now, thank you though," he returned, giving her a small smile. He moved through her apartment, looking at various things, his lightsaber bumping against his leg as he moved. "Your room is very nice," he complimented. His own room was much the same size as he had opted for a large single room, but it was scarcely decorated. Perhaps when things calmed down and he returned from his wandering, he would find things to decorate it with. Perhaps symbols of balance and such.
