While he didn't know this woman well, at least she had a pleasant voice and laugh (so it was a giggle, it was close enough). "Honestly, a little. I've never really spoken with someone on drugs." It was only after the words had left his mouth that he realized they could be taken as haughty. "Not that I'm judging you or anything!" he added quickly, a faint red tinge coming to his face. This whole nice guy thing was harder than it looked. At least it seemed that way to him.
Hearing how long she'd been here, he nodded. A month. So, not that long. He noticed the glint in her eyes and he shifted some. He didn't sense anything malicious from her. At least, not the dangerous malicious he could easily sense after years of Vader's training. It seemed to be something else and it threw him a bit.
As she brushed her hair, he had just started to let his eyes size her up again. His eyes lingered a bit longer on her chest than normal and he blushed a bit darker. "Several months now," he returned, making sure he focused on her face. "Since around January I think they call it here." Okay, it was time to do that nice guy thing. He couldn't linger forever outside of the medbay. Waiting and worrying would only make him insane.
"It probably isn't too safe to wander outside alone," he said. He crossed his arms, but the way he was standing it was clear to anyone (though he wasn't sure how clear to someone on a drug high) that he knew how to fight.
