After talking to Cordelia on the network, Fred was excited to know that one of her few friends from LA was coming. Maybe this meant that Gunn and Wes would show up, too, and everything would feel more normal again. Or, at least, a little less frazzled in general. Slowly, she crept down from her apartment and made her way to the lobby to wait, curling up in one of the largest chairs, closest to the stairs. When the door opened and she saw Cordelia enter, Fred smiled brightly, slipping out of the chair to make her way over.

"Hi, Cordy, it sure is real good to see you, I missed you!" She gave the brunette a quick hug, then let go and stepped back just in case Cordelia didn't really want the touching right now, since sometimes it was a little hard to tell if she was okay with that sort of thing.

"Have you seen anyone else yet? Angel? Or what's-her-name?"
