Funny thing about being sick, it always came at very inconvenient times. She'd been waiting for an anomaly to appear ever since she'd started getting sick. Because that was just what she needed to get better. Chasing dinosaurs around London, clearly it was the best way for the flu or whatever this was to leave. At least it didn't seem to be anomaly related, because that would be a bit harder to explain to a doctor on why she had some disease from who even knew when. Still the coughing fit passed and she was more than slightly shocked to hear that this was crazier than work.
"Is that even possible?"
No. Really, how was it possible to end up somewhere in a situation stranger than rips in time. That was just... Abby didn't even know how to respond to that. Of course then he had to mock her about the indecent exposure thing, "Well, it's not like--" And then they were being interrupted by the annoyed man. Pulling Rex out of the carrier, Abby nodded some to her fiance. After all, it wasn't like she knew he wasn't, at least in his frame of reference. Still, with Rex there, she relaxed more, knowing that he was now safe from being experimented on. He really did make her happy, as did Connor in his own way. Still, more pressing things to worry about.
Following Connor out of the station, Abby shot him an annoyed look from before.
"It's not like I planned it. I fell asleep on the couch and woke up on a bench, and if you're saying it's crazier than home, that means an anomaly didn't open up in our flat."
Really, this wasn't her fault. It was...whatever dragged her here's fault.
"And how can you have a place to stay? Didn't you just come through whatever as well? I mean we had been talking before..."
So began the questions. Sick or not, Abby wanted answers.
