Abby was so far from happy. She'd at least been given spare prison clothing so she had pants on. That didn't exactly fit but they did the job. Really, sitting in a holding cell in nothing but her knickers and a tank top wasn't exactly comfortable. Far from it, in fact. So she had taken the offered draw string prison pants and put them on and had gone to glaring through the bars, as if that would bring Rex back. She had no idea how she was going to get out of this. She had been allowed one phone call but it wasn't like she knew anyone in the States. And then what?
Truthfully, the blond didn't know how long she was stuck in the holding cell. Just that the guards mostly avoided her because they had quickly learned she would start demanding Rex back. They didn't understand how special he was. They didn't understand that he wasn't actually a lizard... and that was something they didn't need. Honestly, the only thing that made sense was that there had been an anomaly that had opened up in the flat and pulled her through. Why she ended up on a park bench while asleep? Abby still didn't know. But it was an anomaly. What could she expect?
As she was told that someone had bailed her out, all Abby could do was blink. Weird. Very very weird. but no matter. If she could get out, that meant she could find a way to save Rex and figure out where and when she was. At least it wasn't the distant past this time. But still, how was she supposed to get back to Connor? It wasn't like she had seen him when she had been woken up by the police officer. So it wasn't like he'd come through as well.
First things first. Figure out what was going out. Figure out how to save Rex since he was there and figure out how to get back to her fiance. Or... she could blink in shock as said fiance was there.
"Connor? But.." Shaking herself, Abby looked at the guard in annoyance. There was a lot to say that couldn't exactly be said in front of someone who didn't know about the anomalies after all.
