Unlike Ruby, Sam had nothing to hide. Nothing that he wanted to hide. As much as he complained about her, she was the one person outside of his own brother that really did know him. And even then, she knew him in ways that Dean would never be able to begin to understand. She understood that he was different. She understood that he would do whatever it took to kill Lilith. No matter what the price, no matter what the world required of him to make sure that she would never harm anyone again, Ruby knew that he would do it.
That, though, was just the icing on the cake. She knew more than that. Knew how he was in a world without Dean Winchester. She had seen him cry. Laugh. Yell. All of it. She knew him, as much as he hated to admit it.
Sam didn't mind that right now though. It was actually a preferable thing, having Ruby know so much about him. It meant that she knew what he liked. She knew how to take him in bed and she knew what to expect when they got like this. Sam didn't worry about boundaries or rules. There were no rules here. Not now. Not when he needed her so badly.
Moaning against her skin, Sam slid a hand into Ruby's hair and pushed into her hard. Her name left him before he sank his teeth into her neck again, biting down roughly. God, she felt so good. Why he had hesitated to have sex with her way back before, Sam would never know.
Face twisting against her neck, Sam swore under his breath and screwed his own eyes shut. He had already been close before. Now he was again and he knew that he'd be incapable of holding out for too long. Still, he went out of his way to ensure that Ruby was right there with him. Hard as it was to focus, he made sure to touch her in the right places. Sam wanted her to feel the way that he did. He wanted her to know that he was grateful for the way she'd taken him in before. The way she had made him so very desperate for this.
