Who: Cassie Sandsmark What: Wonder Girl arriving in Lawrence...and teaching boys to not ogle her. Where: A Walmart then the streets When: Evening of the 22nd! Status/Rating: Low/Narrative(complete)
Cassie had been wandering around in the Tower, wrestling with herself if she wanted to keep pursuing a relationship with Conner or to just let it die as it seemed to be dying. It was a hard decision but if she was going to lead the Titans...maybe having a personal relationship with one of the members wasn't a good idea. It would ruin her objectivity, right? She let out a slow breath and decided to do some flying. Maybe it would help clear her head. So she headed up to the roof and smiled at the fresh air and beautiful day.
As she took off through the air, she frowned when the scenery changed. This...was not in the same town as Titan's Tower. Spotting a store called Walmart, she barged right in and went to the check out lines to look at the magazines and papers. And she blinked. And blinked again before rubbing her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things. April of 2012?? How was that possible!? Clenching her fists, she looked around, glaring at the few people who were gawking at her and staring.
"What the hell do you think you're looking at!?" she snapped at a teenage boy.
"A gal who's very fine lookin'," he chortled.
Curling her lip in disgust at the look in his eye, she grabbed him by his shirt and hurled him across a display stand of $5 CDs and into a few clothing racks. She glared at the small crowd and they quickly backed off. Glaring, she moved through the store to the electronic section and "persuaded" the employee there to give her a smartphone for free and to activate it.
With that done, she wandered out onto the streets and began looking around, hoping to spot a familiar face. Though if she were Kansas, perhaps she should try to find the Kents in Smallville. They would help her, right? Even if she and Conner weren't a thing anymore. They were good people after all.
