While Phoebe had been a little stumped on dressing for a night out patrolling from a car – it wasn’t really the same as looking for a demon or warlock – she was more than able to decided what to wear for a genuine dinner date. She had a deep affection for plunging necklines, and tonight’s dress showed that. Originally debating on going with a bright color, Phoebe decided that for this particular evening – their first true date –she’d stick with black, which seemed to be Bruce’s favorite color, from what she’d seen the previous evening. The dress was accessorized with large clunky red earrings, a few bangle bracelets on each arm, and an exotic flower pin in her short hair. As she affixed the pin, she absently debated getting extensions soon. While her hair didn’t change as much as Paige’s, she was ready to grow it out again, and thought maybe extensions would give that a little boost.
Pushing the thoughts out of her mind for the moment, Phoebe turned to step into red and black heels, smiling a little as she studied them. This was definitely going to be a good night. And, okay, maybe now she knew who the future father of her children would be, if Mel was right, but that didn’t stop her from dating now, did it? After all, Bruce was an attractive, interesting man, and definitely of the tall, dark, and handsome variety – which, less face it, was her true weakness. For an instant, Cole’s face filled her mind, before she pushed it out again, grabbed a silvery-translucent shoulder wrap, her purse (which held a couple of small potions, her apartment key, some cash, and emergency lip gloss, and picked up her phone. She smiled when she saw the text from Bruce, gave her makeup one last check, then made her way out of the door towards the complex elevator.
A few minutes later, she stepped outside and the smile on her lips widened as she saw the Lamborghini. It’d been a while since she’d been treated to true luxury like this, and she renewed her earlier thought that tonight would be good. Stepping carefully down the steps, she walked over to the car.
